Terms of Service

Welcome to rdr.to!
We're thrilled to provide services ("Service", as described henceforth) to you on rdr.to, mobile apps and social media sites ("rdr.to", "We", "Our") subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein ("Terms"). The use of rdr.to and its services is bound to your acceptance of the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with them.
When you use any of Our services, you are subject to the policies, terms, and conditions applicable to that service. We reserve the right to change any of the information pertaining to rdr.to and these Terms at any time and without notice, but We may occasionally email Our users with a description of any recent changes to the Terms. By accessing or using the Service, you are indicating your agreement to the policies, terms and conditions contained herein.

Service, and your use of the Service

The rdr.to website is a link redirection service ("Service") built from the ground up to be easy, quick and free. Often called a URL shortening service, rdr.to allows you to transform any web address, of any valid length, to a different, often shorter web address that links to the rdr.to website.
As a user of the Service and provided that these Terms aren't broken in any way, shape or form, you may create as many redirection links as you want, and you may use them in any legal way that fit your needs.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a legal entity, such as a company, a sole proprietorship, an organization, a group of people, or as a guardian, you hereby acknowledge that you have the legal authority to represent such an entity and/or its affiliates, and that by doing so, you and the entity you represent agree to be bound by these Terms.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any such entity or individual at Our sole discretion and without limitation or notice if We believe that the user's conduct violates these Terms of Service, applicable laws or is otherwise harmful to rdr.to or the Service.
For the avoidance of doubt, these Terms of Service survive the deactivation or deletion of your account.

Pricing

The rdr.to website and some of its services are provided free of charge.
In the future, rdr.to will launch new premium services to empower its customers further. When that happens, the existing services and redirection links will continue to function normally.
Please note, however, that a redirection link that was created by an anonymous user and that has been dormant for a whole month will be expunged. In order to keep such a redirection link working, even if dormant for more than one month, you must register for an account from the same computer that was used originally to create the redirection link.

Registration

As a user, you may register for an account on rdr.to in order to administer your redirection links and to protect them from being expunged. When you register, and indeed as long as you continue to use the Service, you agree that:
  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • Your information is accurate and complete
  • Your email address is used solely by you
  • Your password is secure and not shared with anyone
It's your responsibility to keep your email address and password secret and secure. Failure to do so may lead to the termination of your account, and by extension to the deletion of all of your redirection links and related metadata.
As a registered user, you'll be able to view analytics about your redirection links, to safeguard dormant redirection links from being expunged, and enjoy other advanced features.

Termination

In case of breach of the Terms, We may terminate your use of the Service, without a prior notice, either by deleting your sessions, your account, your redirection links and/or any metadata that you've accumulated, directly or indirectly ("Termination").
The grounds for Termination may be a result of a breach of the laws of the Kingdom of Norway, or because of violation of a local law in your country of residence, or because We're ordered to do so by law.
If you wish to delete your account and/or your redirection links and/or accumulated metadata pertaining to your use of the Service, you may do so at any time by contacting us.

TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, DATA ACCURACY AND SYSTEM INTEGRATION. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE OF RDR.TO OR THE SERVICE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL.
The rdr.to website, social media pages, and Our subsidiaries, affiliates, licensors and partners do not warrant or guarantee that:
  • The Service would function uninterruptedly at all times
  • The Service would be available at any particular time or location
  • The Service would or must meet your specific needs
  • The Service would not include inaccuracies, mistakes or errors
  • Any defects, errors or mishaps would be corrected
In case your jurisdiction doesn't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, or the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the limitations above may not apply to you.

Intellectual property rights

All graphics, videos, content, and code, whether in source or compiled form, that appear on rdr.to or Our social media pages either belong exclusively to Us or are approved for use by Us. The use of Our trademarks or service marks without Our express written authorization is strictly prohibited.
You shall not use Our trademarks or service marks in connection with any product or service that is or might, in any way, likely to cause confusion or to disparage or discredit rdr.to or the Service. In addition, you shall not use any of Our trademarks or service marks in meta tags without Our explicit prior written consent.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Norway.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
Users who access and/or use rdr.to or the Service from outside the Kingdom of Norway, are responsible for complying with their country's laws and regulations.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements We might have had between us regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time without notice, but We may occasionally email Our users with a description of any recent changes to the Terms.
By continuing to access or use the Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.

Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is bound also by your acceptance of Our Privacy Policy.
